I was gleefully excited when I got a message from my friend Karen asking me to take pictures of her son’s first birthday. One because I love taking pictures. Two because I got to spend time with friends. Three because it was not only a portrait session but a party, so I got to shoot a little more creatively.
I love the idea of having a professional photographer come in and shoot events. This took the pressure off of Karen from having to make sure she captured every moment and allowed her to enjoy herself a little more!
