Last week I was in Charlotte for the Project Go, Give Hope Charity Event. The event was held at Chima Brazilian Steakhouse, where local businesses partnered to raise money for projects around the world to fight poverty.

Chima is an absolutely beautiful restaurant right in the heart of Uptown Charlotte. The environment alone makes you feel like a million bucks. As the stage as being set for the nights events, I looked around and took it all in. The warm ambiance of the restaurant, the floor to ceiling windows looking out into the city, the cool people that were setting up sound and lights which to them, was just another night on the town. To me, I had finally arrived for something cool. A reason to get dressed up.

The heart of Project Go is to raise awareness to some of the poorest and remote civilizations around the world and to DO something about it. They have projects lined up to which the proceeds from the night will fund. The event consisted of fabulous food from Chima, a fashion show produced by Revolution and raffle give-aways. Halogen Tv was there to document the whole thing and is currently putting together a short feature on the night.

Here are a few pictures from the night:
