There’s a youth conference happening in Atlanta right now. 1500+ teenagers going after God. They don’t care how they look, where they worship, or what time it is and where they have to be. They want God…All of Him.
I was there last night for their first main service. When is first walked in I was a little taken back. I didn’t expect it to be so crowded. Kids were EVERYWHERE. That’s the thing about youth and something I forgot somewhere along the way. They don’t like to just sit in their seat. They don’t mind not being in the single row alignment and fitting neatly into their invisible area around their chair. They take off their shoes. They go to the alter. They stand in the aisles. They even sit on the floor. Gasp!
I love going to youth events because it is a rude awakening to: 1. How old I am and 2. How without even realizing it I’ve become set in my ways. I thought this was only for old people, but yes this can happen even at 28.
Here are a few pictures during worship. I had a lot of fun shooting and except for a little sharpening, these images are straight out of the camera. I love how the stage lights effect each image.
For some reason I really liked this one.

Once again, Kelly, your pictures allow me to feel like i’m there…how cool!
