She strolled in beaming. Exuding nothing short of complete joy, excitement, and anticipation. She had just come from breakfast, as myself and Diane (her maid of honor) rolled out of bed. “Goooooood Morning!” she exclaimed. I had never seen her so happy. As she should be. Immediately recognizing what day it was, I threw off the covers and shouted, “Happy Wedding Day!’ She was taken back. We used to live together and she knows this is not how I roll in the morning. Except this was no ordinary morning.

The three of us had a few last moments together and then were off to follow the schedule the last 12 months had been spent planning. Hair, Make-up, food…can’t forget about food, smiles all around, girl talk, wedding dress, garter, shoes, jewelry, bouquets. Ready!  The day went seamless and before we knew it, it was TIME!

Jennifer looked breathtaking. Tears filled our eyes as we looked at her. This moment was special. She had waited so long for this day and it was here. Her last few moments as Miss.

Jennifer and I have grown really close over the last few years and it was really special for me to able to be a pert of her wedding and see it all come to fruition. I’ll end there because I am not really sure how else to say what I feel.

While I was not the photographer, I told Jennifer I would make sure to take some pictures throughout the day. You’ll notice one pretty important person, the groom, is missing. As a bridesmaid, my loyalty was to Jennifer so except for a few moments I snuck away to get the venue shots, I was with her the rest of the day. Lee hates pictures anyway so the less he’s subjected to the better.

The wedding was held at Chateau Elan. Here are a few of my favorites:

GORGEOUS darling. Simply gorgeous.
I would just like to note that when we went dress shopping, Jennifer tried on a grand total of 2 dresses. That’s TWO! She knew and we knew the moment she put this on that it was the one.
I can’t put my finger on why, but I really love this one.
The next few moments with the flower girl were precious.

After we finished getting ready, I snuck downstairs for a few minutes to capture some detail shots. Becuase it was so early, none of the candles had been lit nor was the lighting on- but you can still see how magical it was.

I was obesessed with this table. I absolutely loved the branches with the crystals. Once the candles and lights were lit, it was AH.MAZE.ING.

The reception looked like a dream.

This last image I stole from Leann (one of the bridesmaids). Here we all are ready and waiting: Heather, Sydney, Diane, Leann, Jennifer, Me, Anna, Vanessa, and Julie.
