The initial email was for an engagement session. They were getting married in Miami, where they were from and their family still lived. We met at Canoe Restaurant, where Tim asked Aileen to marry him. And at the end of the session Aileen gave me a hug. She’s just that kind of person. The kind that everyone loves and you feel like you are old friends after the first time you meet.
Over the next few weeks emails continued and I was blown away by her kindness and sweet words. One message in particular managed to shock, humble and blow me away all at the same time. The email explained that her and Tim had prayed about finding the right photographer for their Miami wedding. When she walked into work the next morning and began her routine, the first file she opened was for a property located on Kelly Lane. Woah…but there’s more. The property county was in Lusk (my last name) Wyoming. The next thing I knew I was booked for March 19 and last weekend was flying to Miami for Tim and Aileen’s wedding.
Tim and Aileen, I adore you. Really. Your family is beautiful. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of such a special day in your lives. I am forever grateful to have met you both and wish you complete happiness and love. I hope you had a wonderful cruise and can’t wait to get started on your album! XOXO.
The day started off in Aileen’s hotel room at the Miccosukee Resort.
